AFURI is an amazing ramen place and definitely worth trying. The ordering process is simple and efficient. Once you arrive, select your ramen on the ordering screen, choose any extras you want, and then take your allotted seat. The food is served surprisingly fast, and the service is smooth even when the restaurant is busy. The ramen itself was really delicious and exceeded my expectations. One big advantage is the availability of vegetarian ramen, which can otherwise be difficult to find in Japan. This makes AFURI a particularly good option for Indian tourists or anyone looking for a tasty vegetarian ramen experience.

I’ve been to Afuri many times, and it never disappoints. The yuzu shio ramen is what keeps me coming back—it’s light, incredibly flavorful, and unlike any other ramen I’ve had. The citrus from the yuzu gives the broth a fresh, clean taste without overpowering it. The ingredients always taste fresh, the noodles have the perfect texture, and the grilled chashu is consistently excellent. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and the service is efficient, even when it’s busy. If you’re looking for a rich, heavy ramen, this might not be your style. But if you appreciate a refined, balanced bowl with high-quality ingredients, Afuri is one of the best ramen restaurants you’ll find. It’s a place I recommend to friends whenever they’re in Japan.

So much lighter than typical tonkotsu — the citrus notes are addictive.

If you’re looking to try something a little different from your usual ramen, this place is worth a visit. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, which already sets a good tone from the moment you walk in. The presentation of the food is also impressive everything looks thoughtfully prepared and very appetizing. That said, the flavor might not be for everyone. The broth leans more on the sour and tangy side rather than the rich, savory depth you’d expect from traditional ramen. It’s definitely a unique twist, but if you’re someone who prefers classic flavors, this might catch you off guard. Also, a heads up cilantro is quite prominent here. If you’re not a fan of it, this bowl might not be for you. Overall, a great experience in terms of service and presentation, but the taste really depends on your preference for bold, non-traditional flavors.
