This has quickly become my favorite coffee chain in Tokyo—easily surpassing Blue Bottle in my opinion. I visited on a quiet, rainy morning, and the calm, soothing atmosphere made it even more enjoyable, with no crowds at all. The service was also excellent—attentive and polished. Both the Americano and hot chocolate were fantastic, rich and full of flavor. I especially liked that you can adjust the strength of your Americano by adding your own water after the espresso shot—I went for a stronger, less diluted taste, and it was perfect.

☕️🍞🧈🧀 An unforgettable café experience in Tokyo! Fuglen Tokyo is one of those rare spots that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the vibe hit the perfect balance between cozy Scandinavian minimalism and warm Japanese hospitality. I tried their Norwegian brown cheese toast, and let me tell you; it’s unlike any toast you’ve had before. The cheese has a subtly sweet, caramel-like flavor that pairs beautifully with their expertly brewed coffee. Speaking of coffee, every cup I had here was rich, smooth, and thoughtfully prepared, truly top-notch and perfect for savoring slowly. The atmosphere is relaxed yet buzzing in the best way. Whether you’re catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or simply enjoying a solo moment, Fuglen makes you feel right at home. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Prices feel fair for the quality you get, it’s worth every yen! Fuglen Tokyo is an absolute must-visit.

Fuglen is, without a doubt, my all-time favourite coffee shop. Everything about the place just works… the coffee, the atmosphere, the design, and the attention to detail. It has a unique character that makes every visit feel special, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or staying for a while. What keeps me coming back is the combination of exceptional coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard. A true gem and one of the few cafés that I never get tired of visiting.
