I had a wonderful experience visiting Bar Record the first night I landed in Tokyo, and I definitely will be returning. I came with no expectations, and as a vinyl lover, the vibe was curated to have a drink and just enjoy the music. I had the privilege of meeting Souta, the owner/bartender of the bar, and having a conversation with him. He was so nice; he kept the bar open an extra hour because we got caught up in conversation. My brother also came along, and he gave him a free drink! Overall, I definitely recommend it for music lovers, especially if you prefer more of a chill vibe and a nice environment to have a conversation. Also, prices are super reasonable!

First night in Japan couldn’t have been better! The music, atmosphere, and cocktails were absolute gems. Every drink was crafted to perfection, and the vibe made it a truly memorable experience. The hosts were welcoming, and the energy of the place was just right. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit. Highly recommended! 🍸🎶🇯🇵

After two weeks of moving between listening bars across Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo, the search is finally over. Bar Record is the one. The sound quality is absolutely incredible: crisp, immersive, and perfectly balanced, and the mood lighting creates a soulful, intimate vibe that’s hard to find elsewhere. Best of all is that there’s no cover charge, which is a total rarity for a spot this high-quality.
