MEGA Don Quijote is the kind of store where you can find almost anything if you have a little time to look around. I liked how easy it was to pick up everyday items along with fun souvenirs for friends and family, and there were plenty of makeup options too. It felt like a very useful stop, especially when I wanted to bring a few things back home.

Omg it’s huge! 7 floors full of items that you usually see in all those viral travel videos! Obviously it’s always crowded. You will often find Indians with big luggage and trolley lol. But place is a must to buy all Japanese beauty products, chocolate, matcha, all kind of patches and what not?! Price is very reasonable and you must show your passport for tax free payment. Tax free payment counter is in 7th floor. I thought it would be very crowded too but to my surprise there were 40 counters for payment which make it quicker. Also they take all the coins. So it’s super nice and best way to get rid of your coins.

If you go to Don Quijote, you have to be prepared for massive crowds. The product selection is simply gigantic, you easily get completely lost and quickly grab way too many things, so the final receipt might come as quite a surprise! A real highlight is the cosmetics department: one entire floor is completely packed with all the famous Japanese and Korean skincare brands. If you really want to check out everything, you should definitely plan for at least 3 hours. A huge plus is the Tax-Free shopping on the 7th floor. Even though the store is extremely crowded, the process there is super fast because they have over 20 cash registers available. A crazy, chaotic, but absolutely worthwhile store!
