Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We ordered the curry with filet, the pork loin tonkatsu, and the sandwich plus beers for an affordable price. The tonkatsu melted in my mouth and the service was amazing. The staff provided smiles and immaculate service. Overall, I will definitely visit again if I come to Tokyo.

Tonkatsu Maisen Aoyama is a must-visit if you're looking for one of the best tonkatsu experiences in Tokyo. The pork cutlet is perfectly cooked—crispy and golden on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. Every bite is flavorful without feeling greasy, and the fresh shredded cabbage, rice, and miso soup make for a well-balanced meal. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, blending traditional Japanese charm with efficient service. Despite being a popular destination, the staff are friendly, attentive, and keep things running smoothly. The quality of the food more than justifies the price, making it an excellent value for such a memorable meal. Whether it's your first time trying tonkatsu or you're already a fan, Tonkatsu Maisen Aoyama is a place you'll want to return to on your next trip to Tokyo.

Crispiest tonkatsu I've had. The building itself is worth a visit on its own.

This restaurant is well known for its pork dishes and truly deserves its reputation. The food was excellent. We ordered six dishes for a table of five people and every item was wonderful. The pork cutlets and the ginger braised pork were outstanding. For five people, we paid around 12000 yen which made it excellent value as well. Highly recommend it.
